Vancouver Foodster‘s 4th Best Pizza Challenge where restaurants compete with a pizza creation of their choice!
I, along side Tara Lee and David Grange, are the judges for this years challenge.

The BC Pizza by Chef Danilo. Besciamella base, topped with house double smoked bacon, fresh pesto sauce, fresh scallops, and balsamic caviar.
IL GIARDINO PIZZA
The Blenheim Pub
3293 West 4th Ave.
Il Giardino Pizza by Chef David Scott. Parmesan cheese crust, house made San Marzano tomato sauce, portobello and brown mushrooms, eggplant, zucchini, corn, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, a port reduction drizzled over top. ADD-ON house made Italian sausage.

Bulgogi Pizza by Chef Artus Sukru. Olive oil base topped with grano padano, mozzarella, mushrooms, marinated bulgogi, red onion, fior di latte, chili flakes, and oregano.

The Modern Italian Pizza by Chef Subraaz Abdullah. Garlic alfredo base, roasted cornish hen, capicola, caciocavello, sweet onions, and an arugula pine nut pesto.

AJ’s Brooklyn Pizza Joint

The Cat’s Meow by Chef Kristy Ayers. Garlic olive oil base with fresh mozzarella and fontina cheese, confit mushrooms, spicy panchetta, chili flakes, two sunny side up eggs, pea shoots, lemon oil, and truffle salt.
FENNEL SAUSAGE PIZZA

Fennel Sausage Pizza by the Novo Pizza Team. San Marzano pomodoro base, house made fennel sausage, basil, fresh mozzarella, rosemary oil, and ricotta di bufala stuffed into the crust.

The Venezia by Pizzaiolo Ralph Funaro. Mascarpone base, mushrooms, artichokes, fior di latte, prosciutto cotto, salami, and Sicilian mixed olives.

Wake-n-Bacon 2.0 by Chef Shannon Brown. Truffle cream base, leeks, sunchokes, pepper crusted guanciale, mozzarella, caramelized onions, green onions, and a free run egg.
